Hey guys…..awesome BFD yesterday. And every year I’m so impressed on how you help the local music scene. One suggestion..the sound system on the Local stage was really inferior. These were all great bands and needed to be heard more clearly. Really enjoy the local feel. For me, this is as cool as the main stage!

Sad to hear that the Local Band sound was bad again this year… same situation last year (2009)…

I think the problem then was that the house (audience) sound was being run from the stage itself (as the band’s monitors usually are) so the sound person couldn’t tell what the audience was (or wasn’t) hearing…

Maybe next year the soundboard for the house sound will be located out in the audience. If it was this year (I didn’t go) then I don’t know what would fix the problem. But I hope it get fixed – local bands really look forward to the big BFD exposure potential, and to have that ruined by poor sound is just wrong!
