In a recent interview with Vanity Fair Jack White might just be hinting at a new White Stripes album.
It looks like White Stripes’ front man, Jack White, is giving fans some hope for new music from the band sometime soon.
“We thought we’d do a lot of things that we’d never done: a full tour of Canada, a documentary, coffee-table book, live album, a boxed set,” White says. “It was one long project that took almost three years. Now that we’ve gotten a lot of that out of our system, Meg and I can get back in the studio and start fresh.”
With Jack White’s other bands both on a bit of a break, the timing seems right for The White Stripes to get to work on the follow-up to 2007’s “Icky Thump”.
