Two years in the making, the exhibit Nirvana: Bringing Punk To the Masses opened this month at The Experience Music Project in Seattle. The show boasts the world’s largest collection of Nirvana memorabilia, including a wide variety of photos, guitars, basses, and other items, along with interactive kiosks, all designed to bring further light onto the world of this groundbreaking band.

Our friends in Seattle spent some quality time inside the exhibit right after in opened, and they have put together a photo gallery that takes you on a personal walking through through it. It’s the next best thing to being there.

And speaking of which, If you don’t live in Seattle, there’s no huge rush to get here: the exhibit runs through April 22, 2013, so you have some time to plan.
