Five Hour Traffic Jam And Too Late For U2; Ticket Holders Might Sue

[lastfm link_type=””]U2[/lastfm] fans in Oakland, California are considering taking legal action after they got stuck on freeways last week and never made it to the show, because of traffic.

There was an enormous traffic jam that included an accident involving a big rig that flipped off an off ramp and shut down two lanes of a main freeway for hours. The people who drove to U2’s sold-out concert waited in traffic for as long as 5 hours and got there too late.

Lawyers are asking that people who missed the concert should at least deserve a refund. But officials at the arena in Oakland said they made every parking space available they could and that too many people drove and not enough took public transit.
