Akron, Ohio rock ‘n’ roll duo The Black Keys are still riding high on the success of their sixth studio album “Brothers”, which featured Live 105 hits “Tighten Up” & “Howlin’ For You,” but that hasn’t stopped them from getting to work on their next album…or even, completing it.
In a recent interview with French publication Voir Black Keys singer and guitarist Dan Auerbach confirmed that the band has completed work on their 7th studio album.
In the chat, the six-stringer admitted that their next set “doesn’t really sound like Brothers,” apparently favouring more of a rock’n’roll sound owing to the Cramps, the Clash and the Rolling Stones.
The album’s release can be expected by the end of the year.
