Swedish garage-punk revivalists, the Hives, who are best known for their monochromatic black-and-white get-ups and singles like 2000′s “Hate To Say I Told You So.”
Now, they’re back with a rowdy, riff-laden new rock joint called “Go Right Ahead.”
The first single from their upcoming fifth studio album, Lex Hives, “Go Right Ahead” is reminiscent of a groovy Rolling Stones tune or the punky rockabilly-ish energy of the Cramps.

“Here is our new song,” says frontman Howlin’ Pelle Almquist. “We have done what we can with it. Now it’s your turn.”
The Hives are scheduled to play Coachella, but have also slotted a mini-tour through California in-between the two Coachella weekends.
