Green Day is in studio, hard at work on their latest full length endeavor. According to Billie Joe, the album with harder and edgier than American Idiot. In a recent interview, Armstrong says the album will “focus on sex, plain and simple.”

The latest in series of short videos on Green Day’s YouTube channel shows the band in studio. But something’s different. Look past the odd geometric shapes and video overlays to reveal bassist Mike Dirnt playing dueling drums with Tre Cool.

Amidst the many garbled voices, one can make out “All I know is that I don’t know. All I know is that I don’t know nothing.”

What does this latest cryptic message mean? The band and their producers are likely the only ones who know.
