The official kick-off party for your summer is coming -BFD 2012- and its locked and loaded and ready to takeover the Shoreline in Mountain View this June as Live 105 proudly presents our seminal music festival in its 18th year!

We’re elated to tell ya that BFD 2012 returns to a Saturday this June and will once again pack an awesome line-up that features 4 stages and 40 total acts.

BFD 2012 will be unveiled to you in a 3-prong attack this year:

1) SUBSONIC TENT line-up announced THIS Saturday, April 21, live on Subsonic at midnight

2) LOCAL BAND STAGE and details about our upcoming BFD 2012 local band contest will be revealed this Sunday, April 22, on the Radio Soundcheck program

3) BFD 2012 full line-up, ticket info, activist pre-sale, $10.53 ticket promotion, etc, will be ALL unveiled on Monday April 23!

so what are peoples lineup predictions? I’m guessing Kasabian headlining the subsonic tent and the Hives being one of the bands on the bud stage. I’d also like to see the Cribs and FUN there…

Got a feeling Childish Gambino, Silversun Pickups, Grouplove, The Naked and Famous, The Killers, Blink 182, Linkin Park and Cage the Elephant might be in the lineup. Also Picture Atlantic for local bands. Just my guess.

I’m about 99% sure Of monsters and men are gonna be there, about 80% that Grouplove and Silversun Pickups are gonna be there and like 60% that the naked and the famous are gonna be there. I’ve also heard rumors of Garbage being there. And I also expect either the Offspring, Incubus, or Coldplay to be on the main stage as well. The HIves would also be awesome to be there too. We also have to expect the limousines to be there, since they’re there like every year

Mike and Connor, I don’t think The Offspring will be playing. They will be playing a series of European shows in June, so I doubt they’re gonna play. Hopefully next year they will though.
