Blink 182′s Travis barker underwent an endoscopy today.

According to his Twitter feed, he’ll return to the operating room next week to have his tonsils removed. As any adult who’s had the surgery can confirm, it’s no walk in the park. Ice cream is your only solace. No word yet on the reason for the tonsillectomy.

When the drummer hasn’t been in the dentist’s chair getting root canals, he’s been incredibly busy, working on tracks with the Transplants, Yelawolf, overseeing Famous Stars & Straps, his popular apparel line and rehearsing for a nearly 40-stop world tour with Blink-182. The band’s first stop is in Rochester, New York before heading into Canada ten across the pond to the U.K.

Tomorrow i have an endoscopy and next week the doc is yanking my tonsils out? Anybody have them removed as an adult? Heard it sucks…—
