We are so lucky in the Bay Area to have amazing local artists at our fingertips. I have watched local electronic band Young Science find their footing and completely hone in on their amazing sound … which I can really only compare to sex! Young Science played my Birthday Bash two years in a row and are performing at this year’s BFD on the Local Band Stage.
They’re releasing their debut album Schizofriendly on May 18th and having a record release party this Friday at 9 PM at the Great American Music Hall with The Holdup, Woosters, and DJ Aaron Axelsen. I had the pleasure of talking with the guy behind the music Grant Averill aka James Melo yesterday at LIVE 105 yesterday. Check it out!
Listen to the interview below and don’t forget to pick up Schizofriendly this Friday and their latest video “Chill Murray”.
