Queens Of The Stone Age’s Josh Homme Does Infomercial For Scissor Sisters Album
Josh Homme totally gives off “cool bro” vibes and the Queens of the Stone Age frontman sure has enough talented artist friends to prove it. Just recently, the red-headed musical behemoth sang a sultry rendition of Johnny Cash’s “Jackson” with Florence Welch on MTV Unplugged and the Hives confessed that Homme was their main homeboy at an interview with KROQ/Los Angeles at Coachella.
Now Homme is showing off his really awful/hilarious/weirdly erotic acting skills with an album “infomercial” for the Scissor Sisters’ forthcoming album Magic Hour which will include collaborations with artists like Diplo and Pharrell.
The Scissor Sisters website is set up like an infomercial purchase page and reiterates what the tatted, denim-vested singer says in his infomercial: you can get the album for 3.5 payments of 19.99.9.
Frontman Jakes Shears said about the album, “It’s a sweet joyful mélange of beat-driven future-pop. It style-hops all over the place unabashedly.”
