Just off their first European tour supporting the Sounds, Eric Victorino of the San Francisco based group The Limousines sat down with Megan Holiday for an interview before their live DJ set at Live105′s BFD 2012. Victorino talked about heading on tour in Europe and working on new material.

“It was cool to see how small the world is and how big the world is. And get some experience out there.”

Victorino went on the give the highlight of his favorite stops on the tour saying, “The cliches, Amsterdam. Hamburg has hookers in it and you know like London and Paris.”

With their debut album Get Sharp approaching two years old, Victorino explained how he and band mate Giovanni Giusti are slowing working on new material.

“We’re working on trying to figure out what our next step is. We never really want to do the same thing for our whole career. ”

He went on to add that because they’ve always been an experimental group that, “For us experimentation is like making a traditional record. Maybe it will be a rock n roll album.”

The Limousines debut record Get Sharp is available now via Dangerbird Records. Get details at thelimousines.com.
