The goth-rocking, Hot Topic-friendly Black Veil Brides have claimed that their next album will be nothing short of punk rock. Although the leather-clad metal band are still on tour promoting their 2011 album World’s On Fire, they’ve just announced plans of next album.

With the help of famed punk producer and Goldfinger frontman John Feldmann, they hope to release a record that sounds different than all previous work. Lead singer Andy Biersack told NME “We’ve got 20 to 25 songs written and we’re narrowing it down now. John Feldmann is producing it. It’s going to be more of a punk rock record than anything we’ve done before. It’s Social Distortion meets Metallica.” Beirsack continues, “It’s a concept record, we’ve got a very serious story that’s behind it. There will be a lot of surprises that I don’t think fans are expecting.”
