1. Meg Howrey, half of the writing team known as Magnus Flyte, talks about her career as a dancer, then as a solo writer, and then as part of a writing team. She and Christina Lynch are behind the new book “City of Dark Magic.”
2. Kadir Nelson, author and illustrator, talks about what inspires him to write and/or illustrate a book. His latest book, “I Have a Dream,” includes 18 original paintings by Kadir and a CD with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s speech from August 1963.
3. Dave Murphy, an attorney with California Lawyers for the Arts, and entertainment attorney Michael Aczon, discuss the upcoming Music Business seminar that will take place on January 26th at Bolt Law School, UC Berkeley. The seminar has a number of speakers and topics, all designed to help people in the field better understand the business in this digital age.
