1. Mary Beth Keane writes about Mary Mallon, the woman who cam to be known as “Typhoid Mary,” in her new historical fiction “Fever.”

2. Duncan Wall got interested in the circus as a college student studying in France…he know teaches at the national Circus School in Montreal. His new book is “The Ordinary Acrobat.”

3. GQ deputy editor Michael Hainey waited until he was 35 to start looking for answers to the questions surrounding his journalist dad’s death decades earlier. He chronicles the journey in his new book “After Visiting Friends.”
