Update: (7/25, 9:45 a.m. ET): Wes Scantlin has been released on bail from the Hollywood Community Police Department. Scantlin was arrested and booked yesterday (July 24) for felony vandalism (594PC) and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin has done it again. The rocker, famous for such songs as 2002 hit “She Hates Me,” has been arrested multiple times over the past few years for a litany of offenses ranging from domestic abuse to cocaine possession.
Today (July 24), Scantlin again found himself on the wrong side of the law, this time after the 41-year-old had it out with a neighbor, defacing the neighbor’s property in the process. Scantlin reportedly revved up a buzz saw and picked up a sledgehammer to have at a concrete wall the singer claims was built on his property.

Sgt. Albert Gonzalez of the LAPD confirmed to Radio.com that Scantlin was indeed booked into the Hollywood Community Police Department on the charge of felony vandalism. However, as of press time, Gonzalez was unable to confirm the reports of Scantlin using a buzz saw or sledgehammer in his trail of destruction.
