Jagwar Ma & Temples Psychedelically Remix Each Other For Record Store Day

By Alyssa Pereira

Australia’s Jagwar Ma and the UK’s Temples have a few things in common. They’re both Popscene artists with a penchant for shows in the Bay and they both happened to be dearly loved by Oasis‘ Noah Gallagher. More importantly here though, they both have an admiration for psychedelic imprints and catchy pop hooks.

So, these two bands did what any friendlies would do—they remixed each other for Record Store Day. The two bands are releasing a split LP just for the occasion to be released on April 19 in select independent record stores.

Here is the Temples remix of Jagwar Ma’s “Man I Need” complete with winding kaleidoscopic accents.

And here is the bass-heavy Jagwar Ma dance take on Temples’ “Shelter Song.”
