DJ Dials (neé Noah Bennett) has been djing for over 15 years—in almost every aspect of it. He has played in random weird countries and he’s mixed at celebrity weddings. He’s done it all at one point or another, so he knows what works; he’s not too proud to play some tear out dubstep, throwback electro, or some 90′s rap when the situation prompts.
Bennett released his first 12″ record, (which was released on Giles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings) last year, but he has created hundreds of beats that will never see the light of day, from downtempo to the occasional syrup dripped rap jawn. An album will be released when the time is right, but for now, Dials just tries to challenge the audience and have a fun time doing it.
He’s played alongside Modeselektor, Thom Yorke, Four Tet, Madlib, Edit, The Roots, Daedalus, The Gaslamp Killer, SBTRKT, Shlohmo, Flying Lotus, Joker, Skream, Dj Funk, Dorian Concept, Lorn, Lazer Sword, Hudson Mohawke, Jakes, EOTO, Mimosa, and Eskmo. He love good music and loves good people. He wouldn’t be doing what he does if it weren’t for those two simple facts.
