It has been another busy week on the media front, and to save you some time, we’ve rounded up the most important pop culture gems that you must know about. Here are the week’s top stories, from a moonwalking Michael, to a free festival, to a sparkly weekend activity.

Turlock Teen Nails a Michael Jackson Routine, Subsequently Takes Over the Internet

If you missed this one, you are seriously in for a treat. A teenager attending Pitman High in Turlock completely floored his school audience when he broke out with a flawless rendition of Michael Jackson’s legendary choreography in “Billie Jean.” In fact, Brett Nichols routine was so incredible, the Michael Jackson Estate saw fit to invite him on out to Las Vegas to see the Cirque du Soleil show, “Michael Jackson ONE.

RHCP’s Chad Smith and Will Ferrell Square Off in Epic Drum Battle on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’

Due to their undeniable likeness, Will Ferrel and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith have always had an entirely not real disdain towards each other. The doppelgängers finally faced off (get it?) in an epic drum battle on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” to benefit each of their respective charities. We won’t spoil which of them won if you haven’t yet seen it, but in reality, we all enjoyed the spoils of the battle.

 

Memorial Day Weekend Meteor Shower Could Be Pretty Freaking Amazing, Scientifically Speaking
