As part of the Aston Martin’s 50 year association with the James Bond film series, they are introducing a limited edition ‘Bond’ car.
Limited to 150 the DB9 GT Bond Edition features a 6.0-litre V12 engine with unique Spectre Silver paint, sterling silver Aston Martin badges front and rear, and discreet ‘007 Bond Edition’ exterior badging.
DB9 GT Bond Edition also features ten-spoke gloss black diamond turned 20-inch alloy wheels, bright aluminium bonnet vents, side strakes and grille, carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser, and grey brake calipers.
To finish off you Bond experience the DB9 GT Bond Edition also includes 21” Globe-Trotter trolley case (these go for about $2,000) and a Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m James Bond Limited Edition watch (goes for about $6,000).
Aston Martin CEO Dr Andy Palmer said: “In the run-up to the launch of the new film, Spectre, which sees Bond behind the wheel of the DB10, we are very happy to be able to celebrate the partnership with this superb limited edition DB9 GT collector’s item.”
The price tag? It starts at a mere £165,000 (that’s about $250,000 for us Yanks).
Conspicuously missing are features like rocket launchers, self-destruct mechanism, revolving number plates, oil slick, smoke screen, rear bullet proof screen, wheel/tire slashers, front wing machine guns and of course an ejector seat.
