KEVIN KLEIN LIVE, the morning show on LIVE 105, is spearheading a new Twitter campaign aimed at rallying ailing Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry.
“’Cankles For Curry’ is a simple way for Warriors fans to show their support for Steph. His ankle may be hurt, but it’s still not the worst in the Bay. I think the pictures we’ve received thus far have proven that.”
Listeners were challenged to tweet pictures of their own swollen ankles (known as cankles), using the hashtag #C4C. The response thus far has been impressive.
“I had no idea so many of our listeners had such unattractive ankles,” noted Kevin Klein Live cohost, Ally Johnson. “These cankles are huge! I don’t know if they’re injured or people were born that way, but some of them are bigger than my neck!”
Curry hurt his ankle during game 1 of the Warriors’ first round NBA playoff series against the Houston Rockets. The injury forced him to sit out game 2. At this time, he is considered questionable for game 3 tonight in Houston.
