Her fifth studio album is an anagram of her own name.

M.I.A. fans won’t need to wait much longer to hear her fifth studio album. The musician shared a plea to help refugees on her website, bookended by the letters AIM and a possible release date: September 9. Her representation later confirmed the release date to Pitchfork. The album’s first single, “Go Off,” is set to drop tomorrow.

AIM is an obvious backwards anagram of M.I.A.’s stage name, and previous album titles have carried great weight. Her debut Arular was taken from her father’s political codename from the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. Sophomore effort (and “Paper Planes” launchpad) Kala was named for her mother. Her third album title, Maya, comes from her own nickname—short for Matangi, the title of her fourth studio album.
