Radiohead Asks Fans to Direct 60-Second ‘Daydreaming’ Videos

The crowdsourced "vignettes" will come together as a larger Radiohead project.

By Hayden Wright

Radiohead asked fans to direct, shoot and share one-minute videos corresponding to the release of “Daydreaming,” the second single from their new album A Moon Shaped Pool. The submissions (bearing the #RHVignette tag) will serve as “vignettes” that interpret the single in under one minute. While their final destination is unclear, the crowdsourced creative content will surely yield a goldmine of material for the band to recut, share, and admire.

According to Billboard, shorts have already been directed by Ben Wheatley, Grant Gee, Adam Buxton, Yorgos Lanthimos, Oscar Hudson, Tarik Barri, Richard Ayode, Weirdcore and Michal Marczak. Now fans can get in on the action with their own takes on the track.

Submissions close July 30 and fans can obtain a 60-second cut of “Daydreaming” here.
