Korn explore death photography in their newest music video “Insane.”
The video travels back in time to the practice of photographing the recently deceased in order to preserve an image of them for all time. But the photographer behind the practice in “Insane” finds that when he snaps a picture, he witnesses far more than he anticipated. With each click, the dead woman he photographs returns momentarily to life, living in his camera in a horror film-esque way. And things take the ultimate turn when he turns the camera on himself to investigate what’s really happening.
“Insane” marks the second single off their upcoming 12th album The Serenity of Suffering. The band previously released “Rotting in Vain” earlier in July.
Korn will be wrapping up the Return of the Dreads Tour, their co-headlining tour with Rob Zombie, on September 3. From there, they will have a few weeks off before they hit the road again on September 24 for a month-long co-headlining tour with Breaking Benjamin. The Serenity of Suffering arrives October 21.
