There’s been a bit of controversy going on with the website Reddit involving their CEO Steve Huffman, who also goes by the username Spez. Spez came by the station today to come by and clarify a few things about the controversy surrounding Pizzagate, his editing of comments, and the site’s relationship with online supporters of Donald Trump. Kevin and Ally had him guess if certain subreddits are real or ones that were made up by the show. Spez seemed a little too quick to realize that /r/buttsharpies is, but would he know if /r/EroticCucumbers is real or not?
Plus, with Live 105’s 30th birthday celebrated last night at Great American Music Hall, Kevin saw this as a great opportunity to grab audio for a new game of Hipster or Homeless. Useless Weirdo was responsible for recording the Q&As of the people hanging out in the neighboring areas, but he’s not exactly the best interviewer these days. Nonetheless, this may have been one of the toughest rounds of the game yet, with some of the strangest San Francisco folk coming out to blur the lines between the poorest and the most pretentious.
